Simocode-DP are used to control and monitor standard motors starters. You can read the actual current, Kw/hr usage, the numbers of overload trips, set the overload cooling time, diagnostics for short-circuit and broken wire faults, and much more.

Simocode-DP is a cost effective solution for motor starters. It will eliminate the cost of buying and installing:  thermal overloads, timers, current transformers, analog to digital converters (if you want to read the load current), feedbacks for running/tripped/ready, etc…

A typical Simocode installation for a start-delta starter will only require 3 contactors and a Simocode. The three phase wires are passed trough the unit so the built-in current transformers can read the load current. The unit has a set of programmable Inputs and Outputs on board to allow the connection of standard push buttons to start/stop/fault-rest/ the motor in case of PLC failure. There is also available a small control panel that can be connected straight to the communications port. This control panel can be used to start/stop/fault-rest/ the Simocode in case of PLC failure.
